Watching Germany?

Quite a few of the 'Männerchor' members can be seen at Germany matches, too. Since EURO 1988 members of the Männerchor have been present at all major international tournaments, usually making a holiday out of it and exploring the local sights, meeting up with supporters of the home nation(s).

Being VfB fanatics, the real passion is with our club though. Only.

All the excitement and buzz is supporting the boys in white'n red, from getting up in the morning on match-day to going to bed. Still, after decades of following VfB. Mended ways are not in sight.

By the way...

Do not wonder that this site is a dodgy mishmash of German, English, Italian, Spanish and what have you. Apart from following the fortunes of VfB Stuttgart 1893, we take a healthy interest in football in general.

This includes footie in the UK, Italy, Austria and Switzerland, but also Eastern EU, Latin America (Argentina!) and what have you. We're no loony 'groundhoppers', though. But we like to take in matches wherever we are. So do not wonder about news, bits 'n bobs from other countries, leagues and clubs.

Soft Spots?

Männerchor Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt is a 100% "VfB Stuttgart"-only. But there is a definite bond of friendship with some supporters of other clubs. Clubs we do take a keen interest include SV Darmstadt 98, Sheffield United FC and Celtic FC.

For different reasons, we've got to know supporters of quite a few other clubs, with some of them we're in regular touch. Those include for example... Allmänna Idrottsklubben (AIK), Alemannia Aachen, Club Atlético River Plate, Club Atlético Independiente, Genoa 1893, Middlesbrough FC, Sampdoria, SSV 05 Reutlingen, Torino Calcio, West Bromwich Albion, to name a few.
